Tenor Clef

The tenor clef is not commonly used. The trombone and the bassoon only occasionally use this clef. Vocalist can possibly find music written using the other "C" clefs.

Theoretically, there are "C" clefs on each line of the staff. These "C" clefs are soprano (1st line), mezzo-soprano (2nd line), and baritone (5th line). The purpose of using these "C" clefs is to eliminate or reduce leger lines.
