Music Theory On Line

Laboratory

Today's laboratory section is simply a repeat of the three pages identifying types of chords.

Please be very good at knowing what major, minor, augmented, and diminished chords sound like.

The quiz at the end of today's lesson will use ten of the same sixteen questions. Please be prepared!

After doing the Rhythmic Dictation section and the Interval Dictation section, students are encouraged to come back to the Lecture section and practice the chord type identification once more before going on to the graded material section.

Practice! Practice! Practice!
